Pan-Seared Chicken Roll-Ups with a BBQ Twist
My mom made this recipe when I visited recently, and I've made it three times since because it is AWESOMEl! Let's just say you can't go wrong when you combine chicken, bacon and Outta the Park BBQ Sauce. It's a great rainy day (or any day) "off-grill" recipe. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
Pan-Seared Chicken Roll-Ups
(Main ingredients: boneless chicken thighs & bacon)
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Put enough flour (1/2 to 3/4 cup) to coat chicken thighs in a shallow bowl. Season with salt, pepper & poultry seasoning (optional).
Roosevelt's Ribs - Check it out

Brian Roosevelt of Marshfield, MA, is going to make a lot of people happy today with some delicious looking ribs he's been cooking low and slow since 4AM this morning!
Herb Mesa - The Next Food Network Star?!
How cool is this?! Scott's 1st cousin is married to HERB MESA - who is competing to become this season's "The Next Food Network Star." I have to say as a huge fan of competitive Food TV shows, I like Herb's chances and think he has what it takes to go all the way!! And it's really cool that he just plugged our sauce on his FB page!
Great Summer Slaw Recipe
My mom has made this easy, crowd-pleasing cole slaw recipe since I was a kid. I loved it then and I love it now -- and it just happens to go great with any cooked meat seasoned with Outta the Park BBQ Sauce! Try this slaw at your next cookout and see what you think.
Maw's Slaw:
- Shred or coarse-chop green cabbage and set aside in a large bowl. Food processor is fastest and gets the cabbage bits very fine - which is the way my mom likes it. Scott prefers a coarser chop.
- Add one grated or shredded carrot.
